The camera lets your body become the controller. It reads movements such as jumping, leaning and swinging your arms to make the game respond.
All gameplay camera video is processed locally on the console. Edge AI runs on Plazmo’s built-in NPU (neural processing unit), so the video does not need to be sent to the cloud.
No cloud video processing. No internet needed for motion tracking.

Use the slider on the console to physically cover the camera when it’s not in use. The cover blocks the lens, so the camera cannot see the room. Slide it open again when you’re ready to play.

Frequently Asked Questions About Safety & Privacy
What does “closed system” mean?
The entire Plazmo system is built for play. It does not provide a web browser, open internet search, YouTube or Netflix. Children stay within the Plazmo gaming experience, including when the console is connected to Wi-Fi for game updates.
Does Plazmo block YouTube or Netflix on my TV?
No. Those apps are not available within Plazmo. Your smart TV and any other connected devices keep their own apps and settings. Use your TV’s parental controls to manage access outside Plazmo.
What kind of games can my child access?
Plazmo offers games curated for children and families. They exclude sexual content, graphic violence, adult themes, hate speech, discriminatory content and abusive language. Some games include playful cartoon action. Choose games that suit your child’s ability and movement comfort.
Can my child chat with strangers?
No. Plazmo has no online text or voice chat. Local multiplayer lets family members and friends play together in the same room.
Are there ads or purchases inside the games?
Plazmo games have no third-party ads or in-app purchases, power-ups or virtual items.
Is Plazmo’s camera video sent to the cloud?
No. Gameplay camera video is processed locally on the console using edge AI and its built-in NPU. The live camera feed is not uploaded for cloud processing. Account and service information is handled separately, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Can Plazmo games be played without internet?
Yes. After setup and the required downloads, games can be played offline because camera processing and motion tracking happen on the device. Registration, game downloads, updates and online features need an internet connection.
Does closing the slider switch the camera off?
The slider physically covers the lens and blocks the camera’s view. It does not switch off the camera’s electronics. Keep it closed when the console is not in use, and open it for motion-controlled gameplay.
Do children still need supervision while playing?
Younger children should have an adult nearby. Clear the play area, leave enough room between players and take regular breaks. Plazmo is an active indoor play option; children still need time for outdoor play, rest and other activities.
